As part of its annual plan to cover major regional and international events for the benefit of its member organizations, the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) deployed a joint news and engineering team to provide media coverage of the 30th UN Climate Summit, held in Belém, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025.
231 hours of live broadcasting
The ASBU team delivered more than fifty live broadcasts, including speeches and statements by Arab leaders, heads of state and government, and ministers, as well as high-level sessions featuring Arab ministers or senior Arab delegates.
The team also provided multiple live transmission lines for top-level participants in the summit, such as the President of COP30 and the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Adviser.
Altogether, ASBU’s various platforms carried 231 hours of live coverage.

In addition to the live broadcasts, the team produced and distributed 11 daily reports for member organizations, covering the full range of summit events. Key topics included:
