The Lebanese Documentary Film "Kash Kash" wins the ASBU Award at the International Festival of Mediterranean Documentary Film and Reportage

 The French city of Marseille hosted the 26th edition of the PriMed International Festival of  Mediterranean Documentary Film and Reportage, from December 5th  to 10th , 2022.

This Festival is organized annually by the Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication (CMCA) in partnership with European public televisions and with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) to enhance cooperation and exchanges between TV organizations and producers in the Mediterranean region.

The Arab States Broadcasting Union has become an official partner for this Festival since 2012, and it assigns one of the Festival prizes in its name. ASBU also contributes to the competition jury through an Arab jury member.

 

The Lebanese documentary "KASH KASH" directed by "Lea NAJJAR" won ASBU award, among the prizes awarded in this 26th session.

In addition to ASBU Award, the Festival attributes 6 awards annually:

Grand Prize for Documentary Film "Mediterranean Issues"

"Memories of the Mediterranean" Award

"First Recording Work" Award

"Mediterranean Art, Heritage and Cultures" Award

" In-Depth Investigation " Award

"Best Mediterranean Short Film" Award
