As part of the regional and international partnerships and collaborations that the Arab States Broadcasting Union continually seeks to establish and strengthen with its regional and international partners, as well as with relevant professional organizations, ASBU has been selected as one of the international partners for the second edition of the International Media Awards for Peace on "Conflict Prevention and Resolution."
These awards are organized by HEC Montréal, Canada’s Graduate School of Management, in collaboration with the Japanese foundation Pale Bleue Dot, reflecting their shared belief in the influential role media can play in our societies by promoting the principles of peace and dialogue.
The awards aim to advance the values of peace, tolerance, and sustainable development by transforming mindsets and behaviors while supporting efforts to establish global peace.
Participation in this competition is open to radio and television broadcasters as well as digital media professionals, whether in the form of reports, documentaries, or docudramas. Submissions must focus on conflict prevention and resolution and should be sent before August 31, 2025.
In this context, ASBU’s General Administration has issued a circular to its member radio and television organizations, urging them to participate in this competition to strengthen the Arab presence in such international events.
Substantial financial prizes will be awarded to the most innovative and outstanding radio, television, visual, and digital programs, content, and stories that focus on conflict prevention and resolution.
