Tunis, February 12, 2010 -- The Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) is to participate in CABSAT MENA 2010, the leading international digital media Event for the Middle East, Africa & South Asia, scheduled for March 2-4, 2010 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

A number of seminars, conferences and specialized workshops in the areas of satellite communications, radio and TV will be organized during the show to discuss challenges facing the region in this field of activity.

ASBU will have its own stand ( N° 313 ) to promote its activities and projects through posters, CD and DVD-ROMs, brochures and various publications.  Visitors and specialists will also be given first hand knowledge of the top-notch Multimedia Exchange Network Over Satellite (MENOS – ASBU)

Since 2004, ASBU has become a key sponsor of CABSAT, which is experiencing ongoing growth and reflecting the major evolution of the satellite communications and electronic media sectors. It succeeded in becoming a real platform for companies to present their products and services in a fast growing market.
 
ASBU will use the opportunity to hold its Technical Group ( D ) meeting on space and exchange on Feb. 28 & 1st of March, 2010, as well the Technical Group ( C ) on production on March 1-2, 2010
